It occurred to me at 6 am on New Year’s Day that 2015 was temporary, and we’re all done with it. It was just where we lived for a while, temporarily. What’s crazy is 2016 is the same: we’ll have plenty of living to do, but 2016 is not our final destination. It’s a temporary assignment that God has given you and me. We’re just passing through. Scripture says “God has placed eternity on the hearts of men and women.” Ecclesiastes 3:11. Imagine what 2016 could be like if we could gain perspective, traction, and strength for living in Christ? Join us as this year we look at Foundations, beginning in January with “What on Earth Am I Here For?”
On another topic–the Aspen Group begins their work with us on our master site plan and new building, so we are inviting everyone to take some time to answer a few simple, key questions. Your responses will help us discover the heart of the ministry here at Dexter UMC. Click here to complete the survey.
