General Info
Dexter
Christian Singles’ mission is to reach
out in the Dexter and surrounding
area, to single adults who are looking
for fellowship and true Christian
friendship with other Christian
singles.
We typically meet the first Sunday of the month
for coffee and conversation that is of
interest to single adults and with the
purpose of building lasting
friendships. These friendships take
time and effort to nurture and the
process will help us grow in our
faith.
Other social gatherings are planned by
the group as a whole. Past events have
been Game Night, Dinner/Movie Night
and visiting local points of interest.
DCS meets the first
Sunday of the month, 12:30 PM, at the
Foggy Bottom Coffee House, 7065 Dexter
Ann Arbor Rd, Dexter, Michigan 48130.

Current Activities
There are a lot of things going on
with the singles group! A group of us
went to the Greek Festival on June 4th
and had a good time.
The upcoming activities are as
follows:

On
June 19th, six of us went canoeing
down the Huron River after meeting
for a sack lunch and had a great
time. Half of us made it down
without incident, and the other half
got wet to various degrees.
The next outing is the Relay for Life
in Dexter for which Velma and Carrie
provided information. There is a group
of us wanting to go and walk, hear the
band, and see the luminaria at 10.
On July 3rd there will be fireworks at
Hudson Mills which start at 10 PM. The
band starts playing at 7 PM. There is
a group of us interested in going,
sitting by the main building, where
the band will be. Bring your own
drinks, snacks if interested, and
chairs if you want them.
Our next meeting will be Sunday, July
11th, at Foggy Bottom.
