What is GriefShare?
GriefShare is a grief support group that provides help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend.
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone. Often, friends and family want to help you but don't know how. That's the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we've been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
When does the GriefShare group meet?
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7 PM - 8:30 PM in Rooms 203/204. The current session runs from March 7 through May 23, 2018. You are welcome to begin attending our GriefShare group at any point. Each session is "self-contained," so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will be able to pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle.
How do I register?
If you are interested in attending, please contact Pastor Tom Snyder at 734.426.8480 or firstname.lastname@example.org just come! There is a $20 registration fee which includes a workbook. Please let us know if you need child care.
