Counseling Advisory Team

Certified counselors work with the church pastoral staff to offer therapy and educational opportunities under the Hope and Healing Series banner for individuals in our church and community. This group also helps to review potential programs that may be offered. Contact Pastor Steve Bringardner at 734.426.8480 for more information.

Health Connection

This ministry provides helpful health information, educational experiences and programs that promote our health and physical, emotional and mental well-being.  Contact Chris Colver at 734.253.6007 for more information or to volunteer.

Hunger Hamper

A continual, church-wide ministry in which non-perishable food items are collected for those in need around the Dexter community. We work in conjunction with the Faith in Action Agency in Dexter. Two food drives are conducted each year to help stock the shelves of the FIA Food Pantry in Dexter. Contact Carolyn and Tom Tyson at 734.426.1577 for more information.

Postcard Ministry

Postage paid postcards are provided that can be sent out to encourage and uplift those individuals undergoing health or other life challenges. The postcards are always available at the Welcome Center. Contact Jereva Christensen at 734.368.2445 for more information.

Soldiers/Veterans Support Group

The purpose of this group is to locate, support and encourage servicemen and women who are currently serving in the U.S. military, including their families. Also, we recognize and honor veterans who have served our country in the past. Both groups strive to protect the basic freedoms that we enjoy. Past and present activities include clothing drives, Valentines for Vets and Troops, visits to the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor and occasional special events, recognition events for all veterans from past wars, special informational events and speakers. Contact Jean Klark at 734.426.8598 for more information.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is the process of learning how to heighten your sense of God’s presence and activity in your life and making decisions based on that awareness. Spiritual direction provides guidance for growth in prayer, direction for finding God in life's challenges, assistance in the discernment process, and support in inner healing work. By appointment only. Contact Linda Vander Haagen at 734.741.8583 for more information.
