2005-2006: Genesis - Recorded are the beginning of life, sin, apostasy, judgment, atonement, worship, prophecy, and salvation. Genesis forms the first chapter in the history of redemption which is the substance of the whole Bible.
2006-2007: The Early History of Israel - Exodus to Joshua; Israel's deliverance from Egypt and journey toward the promised land to the conquest of Canaan as Israel begins to claim the inheritance promised to Abraham.
2007-2008: Luke & Acts – The Gospel of Luke presents the good tidings of the gospel of Jesus Christ for every age, nation, profession, and people. Luke is the most complete historical record of the life of Christ. The Book of Acts is the continuation of the risen Lord's work glorified through the power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of his followers. It is Christ acting from heaven guiding, directing, comforting, and encouraging His servants.
2008-2009: 1st and 2nd Corinthians – In 1st and 2nd Corinthians the study is of the church at Corinth, one of the churches that caused Paul the most problems. But as Paul himself tells us, God is at work in every situation for the good of those who love him. Out of the anguish of Paul's heart comes the best-loved chapter in the epistles, the chapter on love, 1 Corinthians 13.
