Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and we send them to mission partners running orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs around the world. FMSC food has reached more than 70 countries in our history.
We need over 400 volunteers to fill several 2 hour time slots on Saturday, March 19 (strong, able bodied men are needed for set up on Friday evening).
Children & youth are encouraged to participate but please follow the suggested adult:child ratio:
- K – 2nd grade: 1 student to 1 adult
- 3rd – 6th grade: 3 students to 1 adult
- 7th – 9th grade: 4 students to 1 adult
- 10th – 12th grade: 5 students to 1 adult
IMPORTANT! Each meal costs 22 cents to pack and ship. Our church has committed to packing over 100,000 meals on March 19th which means we need to collect over $22,000 to make this event happen. Your financial support is needed! $15-20 per person or $30 + per family/group is suggested. Donations can be made on the FMSC website below or in person on the day of the event. And you don’t need to volunteer on the day of the event to make a donation!
