Card Ministry
Individual cards of get well, sympathy, thinking of you, etc., are sent each week to those in the congregation who have special needs and concerns.

Care Visits
Short in-home visits are provided to those who have experienced surgery or a hospital stay. Care Visits are specifically set up for home-bound seniors who receive monthly visits from a Care Visit volunteer.

Meals are provided to those who have experienced surgery or a hospital stay.

Christmas Gift Bags
Christmas gift bags are provided to our seniors.

Health Connection
This ministry provides helpful health information, educational experiences and programs that promote health and physical--emotional-mental well-being. Blood pressure checks are held monthly. This group also maintains the first aid and AED equipment and makes the arrangements for the Fall Flu clinic each year.

Helping Hands
This group provides non-emergency assistance, e.g. rides, hospital visits, minor household chores or repairs, to church members needing temporary help.

Hunger Hamper
This is a continuous church-wide ministry where nonperishable food items are collected for those in need around the Dexter community. We work in conjunction with Faith in Action.

Prayer Chain
Church-wide prayer groups act upon requests from the church pastors or staff for immediate prayer for persons or families experiencing serious life situations.

Stephen Ministry
This ministry provides one-to-one assistance in a Christ-like atmosphere of listening and encouraging for those in need of support during times of difficulty or crisis. Leaders, ministers and care receivers are needed. For more information on the Stephen Ministry program, click here.
Ministers meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month for 2 hours.
Veterans/Solders
Support Group
This group's purpose is to support and encourage soldiers who are currently serving in the military and recognize veterans who have served our country in their efforts to protect the basic freedoms that we enjoy. Various activities include clothing drives, card showers, Valentines for Vets, visits to the VA Hospital, etc.
