The Rev. Dr. Karen Vo To and her husband Rev. Dr Ut To are missionaries, supported by Dexter United Methodist Church, working with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church. Dr. Karen Vo To has been serving in Southeast Asia since 2001, and sees the objectives of her work as "serving the needs of battered women, victims of sexual abuse and harassment, the homeless women, and those who are struggling with substance abuse while providing job training to the unemployed and food for the hungry." Karen also serves as associate dean of Wesley Theological College and Seminary and trains Christian leaders and her work focuses on recruiting women to study for pastoral ministry.
Dr. Ut To is assigned to Southeast Asia as country director and mission president. Serving in Southeast Asia since 2001, Ut trains Christian leaders in developing new congregations and nurturing Christians in Southeast Asia. Ut also serves as founder and president of Wesley Theological College and Seminary, Ho Chi Minh City.
